The decade between 1880 and 1890 was the most active decade of railway building in the history of the State, 5,895 miles have been constructed during the period. Joseph, the Nodaway Valley, and the Tarkio - giving a mileage of 309 miles. As this image was first published in the United States before 1922, I believe this image is in the public domain.
